Chickipedia Can Read Your Mind...

Right now, you just read that headline, and you're thinking to yourself, "STFU!!". But it's true. We can. We just did.

If you need further proof, try to edit an article. When you type stuff in the "Chicks She's Worked With", "Stuff She's Done", or "Dudes She's Worked With" fields, Chickipedia will read your mind and give you options as you type. We would have done it for every field throughout this site, but we didn't want to freak you out.

But we didn't stop there. We've heard people say to us, "How come I can't pick more than one category? Wassup with that? What about a triple threat like Alessandra Ambrosio, she's a model, a TV star (one episode of Entourage) AND a movie star (three second cameo in Casino Royale)?!?" Well, you might not have said that, but you thought it, and we read your mind. Now you can select more than one category for any particular chick:

Finally, we've also added Ethnicity and Country of Origin, which are also searchable so you can find all the hot girls from Brazil, for example. Keep in mind, this new data is up to the community to add, so start adding!!

Hey guys, this is Brian from Chickipedia. If you're like me then you watch American Idol for one reason: The singing. No wait, I mean the hot chicks. We know MOST you come to Chickipedia for the articles, but for the few of you that come for the pictures, we've just made it easier for you to peruse the photo and video galleries. Now, when you click on an individual image, you will still be able to go to other images in the gallery without having to go back to the main gallery page. If there are more images than can be displayed in the bar, simply mouse over the bar to the left or right to see other images (see Lindsay Marie's page for an example). Likewise, when you're done watching Adriana Lima's latest GQ photo shoot, you can browse through her other videos without even leaving the page.

Dudes
On the article page, you will now be able to click on dude names under “Hookups” and “Dudes She’s Worked With”. OK, before you guys start flooding our inboxes with complaints about dudes on Chickipedia, let me clarify. The goal of these Dude pages is help you discover other beautiful women. On the page, you can edit some very basic data and upload a picture about the dude. Otherwise, it’s a list of chicks he’s hooked up with, or chicks he’s worked with. How do these pages get created? They’re created based on the data you enter under Hookups or Dude’s She’s Worked With in the chick’s article.

So, let’s take a real world example. Say you’re browsing through Chickipedia, and you come across Drew Barrymore’s profile, and read that she’s hooked up with Justin Long.

You’re thinking to yourself, “WTF? The @#$%* Mac guy?!?!” Well, now you can click on the mac guy and see that not only has he hooked up with Drew Barrymore, but Maggie Q as well!!! And then you begin hating your job and your life when you realize the freakin Mac guy is living way larger than you ever will…wait, this example just got way too depressing. You get the point…let’s move on to other features…

Article Page Facelift

So, the next thing you’ll notice is the new look to article pages. The old grey-on-grey text, while pretty, was hard to read. We’ve change it around a little bit to make it much more readable. We’ve also rearranged the article a little bit to bring greater prominence to the pictures. While we know YOU visit Chickipedia to read the articles, there are other less people who just wanted to see the pictures, so we wanted to bring those up higher in the article.

What’s Your Sign

You’ll also notice we now have searchable birth sign data in the chick’s article. Now, in the off chance you actually meet one of the girls on Chickipedia, you can try out the ol’ “Hey baby, what’s your sign?” one-liner and see if it actually works! (Answer: it doesn’t, we’ve tried).

In our effort to continuously improve your chick browsing experience, we will be rolling out a set of new features tonight.

User Profiles
We're rolling out brand spankin' new user profiles. Upload a picture, edit your page to say something about yourself. But it's the rest of the page that will say volumes about your taste in women. This page will show a list of your recent contributions and who your most recent edit was.

Best of all, it will have...

Favorite Chicks
Now when you see a chick you like, you can add her to your top 3 list by clicking on "Add to Favorites" from her article page.
It's kinda like those Charles Barkley commercials, except instead of DWade and Barkley, it's Petra Nemcova and Jessica Biel in your faves. These will show up on your profile page.

Hub Pages
You'll notice now not only are the chick names clickable, but all the "Stuff She's Done" now links to hub pages, where you can see other chicks who have done the same thing. Say, for example, you come across Emmanuelle Chriqui, and you notice she's in Entourage. Well, you can now click on Entourage, and see other chicks that have that listed in the stuff they've done. Keep in mind this is a Wiki, so how you enter the data determines whether it finds a link to other chicks doing the same work.

Chicki Widget
This has been out for a couple weeks now, but since we just launched this blog, it's worth calling out. We now have a little embed icon next to the chick's name for each chick's page. If you click on it, you can grab the code and paste the Chicki Widget into your website, which will look like this:

Ask Not What Chickipedia Can Do For You...

There have been rampant rumors of an election taking place. We haven't been able to verify the truth in these rumors, we've been too busy ~~staring at chicks~~ working on new features for the site. But, the rumors reminded us of one of our favorite quotes, "Ask not what Chickipedia can do for you, but what you can do for Chickipedia!"

We've gotten great response from you the users, and a lot of people have emailed us asking us what they can do to help. Here are some great ways to help make Chickipedia a better place:

* Write new articles!

* If you see an article with no content, look around the web, find out some info, and add some content. (Click here for a list of pages that are light on content)

* Sometimes people vandalize pages by removing all the content - check the article history, a lot of times you'll see an article with 3,000+ bytes of data suddenly drop to ~1000 bytes, that usually means somebody's gone and removed all the text thinking they're being funny. Just rollback that change.

* If you see retards adding stuff like, "I banged her" or "She's a total ho" or adding their own names in the hookups, , rollback those changes

* If you see nude photos, add a moderator tag somewhere in the article so that our moderators will know to remove it (just add {{Moderator.Removebyrequest|reasons=write reasons here}} in the free text area of the article). We love naked women as well, but we get in trouble when those pics are on there and its just not worth it.

* Browse through http://www.chickipedia.com/index.php/Special:Newpages to see if there are any inappropriate pages being created, and you can tag them with the same moderator tag (this is actually a fun page to look through in general to see what the community has been adding).
